Finsbury Park Mosque Attack

Posted on: 19 June 2017

Annandale Mosque condemns the terrorist attack which took place at Finsbury Park Mosque. We have been reassured by the Police of Scotland that Mosques will be given security.

The Imam of Annandale Mosque, Shaykh Hassan Rabbani has also spoke of his condemnation. He said 'I am very sad to hear of the terrorist attack in London today. Yes! a terrorist attacked peaceful Muslim worshippers, who in the month of Ramadhan went to attend night prayers. May Allah give Jannah to those who passed away and Shifa'ah to those injured, Ameen. There are only a few nights of Ramadan left. More and more people will be attending local mosques as the last five odd nights are considered to be the most important nights in the Islamic Calendar. Our brothers and sisters need to be more vigilant. Alhumdullilah, Police Scotland have sent very positive statements to mosques in Glasgow.'
